Lambton College: Kids in the Kitchen

Join Lambton College EarlyON educators from your home kitchen as we virtually explore food in a variety of ways. Each week, we will be engaging in different food experiences that promote creative thinking and the investigation of math and science concepts. We also plan to weave literacy into these experiences by sharing relevant songs and books.

Join Leanne and Emma from the Lambton College EarlyON Centre and Patricia, French EarlyON educator from La Ribambelle, as we collaborate for another session of Kids in the Kitchen. This week, we will be exploring the artistic process of creating unbaked pizzas while investigating different vegetables with our senses and singing some pizza songs.

Prior to joining the program, we invite you to gather:

• A base for your pizza (Naan bread, flatbread, pita, English muffin, etc.)
• Sauce (cream cheese, etc.)
• Vegetables for pizza (peppers, broccoli, onion, carrot, etc.)
• Shredded cheese
• A plate, cutting board, child-safe knife or food chopper (please ensure adult supervision when using the knife/food chopper)
