Learn Through Active Play: Strategies for ECE Students (Virtual Zoom)

Take active play even further with Strategies, where you’ll explore how to weave movement into daily routines and relationships. After taking our Foundations workshop, you’ll move on to discover how active play can support smooth transitions, strengthen connections with children and colleagues, and create meaningful learning moments, without interrupting play itself.

These strategies help you sustain your active play habits over time, deepening your practice and making active play a natural, joyful part of every day in your early learning environment.

Facilitator: Hilary Bartlett, B.A., is an Early Childhood Educator based in Newfoundland and Labrador. Hilary joined the Learn Through Active Play team as an ECE Consultant and facilitator to empower educators to create meaningful, active play early learning spaces that enrich the experiences of both children and staff. She serves on the Boards of the Association of Early Childhood Educators Newfoundland and Labrador (AECENL) and the Canadian Child Care Federation (CCCF), where she champions educator voices and sector sustainability across Canada.
