An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Monday, repeating until February 22, 2021
Join Ska:na Family Learning Centre every Monday evening in February (1,8,22) for a Baby Massage Series.
Materials needed: Grapeseed oil or Coconut oil, and a towel or blanket for your baby to lay on.
Baby Massage Benefits:
- Interaction, Bonding and Attachment: Positive interaction between parent and child to help each other learn and understand cues, both verbal and non-verbal.
- Relief: Many of specific strokes may help with constipation, muscle tension, growing pains teething, sinus congestion or excess mucus.
- Relaxation: Helps create healthy, nurturing, maternal feelings and sense of well-being and contentment.
- Stimulation: Nurturing touch can help many systems of the body: digestive, circulatory, immune, nervous, and hormonal. Nurturing touch can increase brain and muscular development.
