February 26, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Heuristic play was a term coined by child psychologist Elinor Goldschmeid in the early 1980’s. Heuristic play describes the activity of babies and children as they play with and explore the properties of ’real objects”. Interested in learning more? Join Kim and Jessica to explore sensory rich Treasure Baskets and investigate what Heuristic play is. Bring a low-sided basket with you to create your own treasure basket to use in your program.
