Lambton College: Kids in the Kitchen

Join Lambton College EarlyON educators from your home kitchen as we virtually explore food in a variety of ways. Each week, we will be engaging in different food experiences that promote creative thinking and the investigation of math and science concepts. We also plan to weave literacy into these experiences by sharing relevant songs and books.
Join Carrie and Jade from the Lambton College EarlyON Centre and Patricia, French EarlyON educator from La Ribambelle, as we collaborate for another session of Kids in the Kitchen to explore the beauty of fruit using our senses. We also look forward to making different kinds of fruit kabobs or fruit salad together.
Prior to joining the program, we invite you to gather:
- Two or more of your favourite fruits that have not been cut or opened
- A small bowl of yogurt or nut butter to be used as a dip
- A bowl, spoon and either toothpicks or BBQ skewers
- A cutting board, a child-safe knife, (please ensure adult supervision when using the toothpicks and knife together)
