Lambton College: Kids in the Kitchen

An event every week that begins at 10:30 am on Monday, repeating until January 24, 2022
Join Lambton College EarlyON educators from your home kitchen as we virtually explore food in a variety of ways. Each week, we will be engaging in different food experiences that promote creative thinking and the investigation of math and science concepts. We also plan to weave literacy into these experiences by sharing relevant songs and books.
Join Carrie and Emma from the Lambton College EarlyON Centre and Patricia, French EarlyON educator from La Ribambelle as we collaborate for the first session of Kids in the Kitchen to create a simple snack together. Prior to joining the program, we invite you to gather:
- Fresh or dried fruit (example: banana, strawberries, blueberries, etc.)
- A slice of bread, a bagel or crackers
- Something to spread such as cream cheese or a nut butter
- A plate, tool to spread with, cutting board and a child-safe knife (please ensure adult supervision when using the knife together)
